IDEAS Lab members and collaborators presented three papers at AIAA SciTech Forum 2026 in Orlando, Florida. The work advanced the lab’s research on model-based systems engineering, multidisciplinary design analysis and optimization, reliability studies, and conceptual design for advanced aircraft concepts.

Together, these papers show the lab’s continued push toward integrated design environments where aircraft architecture, requirements, reliability, and performance analysis can be studied in a connected workflow.

At the forum, Gokcin Cinar also received a plaque recognizing her service as Chair of the AIAA Electrified Aircraft Technology Technical Committee.
