IDEAS Lab PhD student Maxfield Arnson participated as a panelist at the 2026 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE) in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The conference took place October 4–8, 2026.
On Wednesday, October 7, Maxfield joined the “Hybrid Electric Propulsion” panel alongside Remi Robache of Pratt & Whitney Canada, Todd Spierling of Collins Aerospace, and Yves Cousineau of Transport Canada. The panel was moderated by Giusi Quartarone of Collins Aerospace. The discussion brought together perspectives from academia, government, and industry on hybrid-electric aircraft concepts.
