Paul Mokotoff Receives Towner Prize for Distinguished Academic Achievement

We are pleased to share that our PhD student, Paul Mokotoff, has been awarded the Richard F. and Eleanor A. Towner Prize for Distinguished Academic Achievement. This award recognizes outstanding graduate students in the University of Michigan College of Engineering for excellence in research, academic performance, and leadership.

Paul’s work focuses on conceptual aircraft design and optimization, with an emphasis on system-level modeling, safety analysis, and computational tools for aircraft design. His research contributes to the development of scalable methods for analyzing complex aircraft architectures, enabling more rigorous and integrated design decisions in both conventional and electrified aviation systems.

We are proud to see Paul’s contributions recognized and look forward to his continued impact in academia.
