Dr. Çınar is an expert panelist for the National Academies Webinar ‘Sustainable Electrification of Transportation Systems’.

For the first time, the AIAA/IEEE Electric Aircraft Technologies Symposium (EATS) was held in conjunction with the AIAA Aviation Forum. Prof. Cinar served in a leadership role on the organizing committee, and Paul Mokotoff presented the IDEAS Lab’s first conference paper.

AIAA SciTech Forum is the world’s largest event for aerospace research, development and technology. Dr. Cinar is an invited panelist and serves as session chair at SciTech.

Dr. Cinar gave an invited talk on Aviation's Grand Challenge: Disrupting technologies for an environmentally sustainable future at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).

Prof. Cinar and her Georgia Tech students presented several electrified aircraft papers at 2022 ITEC+EATS. Prof. Cinar received the EATS Best Paper Award and moderated the Electrified Flight Development Programs panel.

U-M professors George Halow and Gokcin Cinar and graduate student Julia Weiss will give a keynote speech on the new undergraduate model-based systems engineering program at the University of Michigan.
